Papa Hogs Scuba Emporium was started in 1991 by Mike and Margaret Gerus

Over the years, we have trained thousands of divers many being Three Generation families and enjoyed watching many friendships begin.

• Specializing in small fast 6 – 8 passenger boats, allows us to schedule divers out with other divers of the same ability.
• Our fleet of 6 boats has capacity for 6, 8, 10 or 16 divers.
• Dive sites are chosen by our divers. Our dive masters give suggestions and then the clients as a group decide on the destination
• Boats have permission to go as far as Colombia daily, if weather permits. More advanced dive sites such as Punta Sur and Maracaibo must be prescheduled after dive masters have confirmed the diver skill level.
• Nitox tanks available with one day notice with additional cost of 12.00 per tank.
• 50 – 60 minute average bottom time.
• Minimum of 60 minute surface interval
• Purified bottled water on all boats.
• We offer dive training from P.A.D.I., N.A.U.I, and S.S.I. agencies.
• Groups- We offer the choice of staying together on one boat or breaking off onto small boats for a day or two to meet different skill levels.
• If non divers in your party, be it family or a small group, we can customize a trip to accommodate dive/snorkel and or dive/snorkel/fish to allow you to have a day together on the ocean
